Latest news on the condition of musician Mahmoud Mirzaei

Mahmoud Mirzaei is a musician, composer, and conductor from Exeter, the son of the martyr Ali Mirzaei during the war.

He was arrested by security forces weeks ago during the nationwide protests that followed the killing of Mahsa Amini after composing and singing a song about Gina (Mahsa Amini) at his home. Mahmoud Mirzaei expressed his protest and support for Mahsa Amini's blood in the form of a poem that says, "We will not stop at the blood of the envelope, and we are all on the same path tomorrow, we will avenge you together."

Since the Islamic Republic government was afraid of even singing protest songs and had arrested many artists for this reason, it also arrested Mahmoud Mirzaei, a musician and son of a martyr. After his arrest, Mahmoud Mirzaei was interrogated in Ward 209 of Evin Prison for about a week and then transferred to Fashafoyeh Prison; but after a short period of time, he was returned to Ward 209 of Evin Prison. Since his last transfer to Evin Prison, he has been completely cut off from contact.

It should be noted that Mahmoud Mirzaei has not yet been released on bail of 500 million Tomans, and judicial authorities have still not announced the reason for the artist's arrest.
