Letter of belief
The Christian Creed that we believe in:
We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible, and in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, begotten of the Father before the foundation of the world, Light of Light, true God of true God, begotten, not made, of one substance with the Father. By him all things were created; for us men and for our salvation, he came down from heaven, and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, and was made man; and for us he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, suffered and was buried; and on the third day he rose from the dead according to the Scriptures, and ascended into heaven. He is seated at the right hand of the Father; and he will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead.
His kingdom has no end. And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. Together with the Father and the Son, he is to be worshiped and glorified.
He has spoken by the prophets; and we believe in one holy and apostolic church. We confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come.
