OPEC: Iran's oil production fell by another 142,000 barrels in June

OPEC's latest monthly report indicates that Iran's oil production in June decreased by 142,000 barrels per day compared to the previous month, reaching 2 million 225,000 barrels.

Before the full return of US sanctions, Iran's oil production was above 3.8 million barrels per day.

It is also estimated that Iran's oil exports have fallen below 300,000 barrels per day, compared to more than 2.5 million barrels before sanctions.

The United States withdrew from the JCPOA in May of last year and ended the exemption for Iranian oil customers in May of this year.

OPEC's monthly report also stated that the total oil production of the organization's members decreased to 29.83 million barrels in June, mainly due to the decline in oil production in Iran and Venezuela.

OPEC's total oil production in 2017 was just over 32 million barrels.
