A number of families of the plaintiffs were arrested following yesterday's protests in Saqqez.

Last Friday, June 10, a large protest rally was held by the families of the victims at the grave of Daniyal Baidi, a teenager who was killed by security forces during the nationwide protests of 1401.

According to HRANA, the news agency of the Human Rights Activists' Association, a number of these people were released today, Saturday, June 10, but eight citizens of Saqqez are still in detention.

According to Farhad Mahmoudi, brother of Fereydoun Mahmoudi, one of the victims of the recent protests, a number of the mothers of the victims were released this morning, but citizens named Hossein Amini, Sediq Bahmani, Hashem Saedi, Ahmad Rahimi, Arman Habibi, and Abdolrahman Nasri, along with two minibus drivers who were responsible for transporting the victims' families to the Aichi Saqqez detention center, remain in detention.

The Islamic Republic regime is even afraid of the mourning of the bereaved families. Not only do they not allow the families of the victims to mourn and hold ceremonies, but in many cases they have also attacked and destroyed the tombstones of the victims. According to the people of Saqqez and Zahedan, this revolution will soon come to fruition with the unity and solidarity of the people.
