The number of protesters sentenced to death is increasing.

The number of protesters who have been sentenced to death following nationwide protests is increasing.

According to the Kurdistn Human Rights Association news agency, a number of protesting citizens named "Ma'ruf Mola, 22 years old," "Karvan Shahi Parvaneh, 23 years old," "Reza Eslamdoost, 24 years old," from the city of Oshnavieh, as well as "Farzad and Farhad Tahazadeh," and "Hejar Hamidi" in Urmia were sentenced to death by the government of the Islamic Republic.

Mohammad Mehdi Karami, who was arrested during the 40th Hadith Najafi protests in Karaj and convicted of “corruption on earth,” was also sentenced to death by the Islamic Republic’s judiciary. Mohammad Mehdi’s father told the Etemad newspaper: “Mohammad Mehdi himself called us and said, ‘Dad, they have given us the verdicts, my sentence is death.’ My son was crying and saying, ‘Don’t tell mom anything.’”

What is the reason why the Islamic Republic government likes to radicalize the atmosphere and tries to silence protests and popular revolutions every time using different methods?
