Mahan Sadrat's death sentence referred to execution

The death sentence of Mahan Sadrat Marni, one of the protesters' detainees, was referred for execution this morning, December 9.

Given that there were many reactions from the public regarding the execution of Mohsen Shekari, today we are witnessing the announcement of the execution of another 23-year-old young man.

Mahan Sadrat Marni, a 23-year-old youth who was arrested during the protests, was charged by the Judiciary News Agency with the crimes of war, gathering and collusion with the intent to commit a crime against national security, setting fire to a motorcycle, destroying a private plaintiff's phone, and intentionally injuring the plaintiff with a knife, and was sentenced to death.

According to Mahan's father, during a meeting held with the plaintiffs on Wednesday evening, he obtained the plaintiffs' consent to end Mahan's case; however, given that Mahan was accused of war crimes, the plaintiffs' consent had no effect on his death sentence.

Mahan's father also announced that one of the lawyers in the case contacted them this morning and informed them of the notification stating that Mahan's death sentence had been carried out. He also stated that they have not been given any information since the sentence was carried out.

Not only is Mahan Sadrat's life in danger, but there are other young people who have been sentenced to death by the Islamic Republic government.

How long is the Islamic Republic government going to implement these decrees? And will the protesting people of Iran allow these decrees to continue to be implemented?
