Danish prosecutors accuse Norwegian citizen of having ties to Iran to carry out assassination plot in the country

Danish prosecutors have charged a Norwegian citizen with suspected collaboration and connection with Iran's security service to carry out an assassination plot on Danish soil.
According to Reuters, the Norwegian citizen of Iranian descent was arrested in October 2018 in connection with a suspected plot to kill an Arab-Iranian opposition figure in Denmark.
The Danish prosecutor's office said the accused exchanged information with Iranian security services to carry out the plan in Denmark. The man is also charged with attempted murder.
The report says the defendant in the case has denied the charges. The trial in the case is set to take place in about a month.
