Donald Trump's satisfaction with negotiations with the Islamic Republic over its nuclear program

Donald Trump announced in a statement that he is willing to negotiate with the Islamic Republic over its nuclear program.
US President Donald Trump announced on Monday, April 21, that the United States had very good talks with Iran.
He also discussed the ceasefire in Gaza and the Iran nuclear talks with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu in a phone call today. At the end of his visit to the United States, Netanyahu announced in a video message that he and Donald Trump both agree that Iran should not have nuclear weapons.
Netanyahu said in the message: "This can be done with an agreement. But only if that agreement is similar to the Libyan model, where all nuclear facilities are blown up and all equipment is destroyed under American supervision and enforcement."
Kazem Gharibabadi, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister and member of the Iranian negotiating team, said yesterday, while noting that both sides are extracting the general principles of the negotiations, "The foundations of the sanctions, namely the sanctions laws of Congress and the executive orders of the US President, must definitely be repealed."
Donald Trump has repeatedly stated in various messages that his only desire is to prevent the Islamic Republic from obtaining nuclear weapons and has warned that Iran will be bombed if the Islamic Republic does not reach an agreement with the United States on its nuclear program. Islamic Republic officials have also repeatedly stated in response to Trump's demand that dismantling the nuclear program is a red line for the Islamic Republic.
The Guardian newspaper also wrote about the negotiations over Iran's nuclear program: "In the recent negotiations, two main issues are at stake: determining the fate of highly enriched uranium reserves and obtaining guarantees to prevent a repeat of the US withdrawal from the agreement."
According to UN Security Council Resolution 2231, the countries party to the JCPOA can activate the process known as the trigger mechanism to immediately restore all UN sanctions against Iran before October 16 of this year (2025).
Negotiations over the nuclear program, which began on April 13 and have already passed the second round, are scheduled to be held in Oman next week.
