Silence is a great betrayal, come to the streets.

The people of Iran have organized a call for action today, Tuesday, December 28, to coincide with the Iran-USA football game, declaring that silence is a great betrayal, so come to the streets.

The brave people of Iran have posted messages on social media urging them to take to the streets while playing football and not be fooled by the calm before the storm of the Islamic Republic government. The content of the messages that the awake people of Iran have posted on their personal Instagram and Twitter pages is as follows:
"People of Iran! In the face of all this oppression by the Islamic Republic, silence is a great betrayal. We all know that after the UN Human Rights Council voted against the Islamic Republic and formed a fact-finding committee, this government is in a very difficult situation. On the one hand, it cannot continue to kill protesters as before, because it knows that the eyes of the whole world are following the events in Iran much more closely, and on the other hand, it cannot be indifferent to the people's protests, because in its essence it considers violence to be the best way.
So it has chosen another way to deceive domestic and global opinion. If you look with an open mind, you will notice that the repression units have become calmer, some famous prisoners like Hossein Ronaghi have been released. As Ali Karimi says, a young man eating sandwiches gets up in the middle of a speech by a president and chants a protest slogan, and it is surprising that they have nothing to do with him. All these reactions are first to deceive the truth-finding committee and then, if possible, to calm the atmosphere of protest among the people.
So what is the solution to this deception?
First, we believe that all this is to deceive the people and the whole world. Second, know that now is the best time (we emphasize the best time) to pursue street protests and nationwide strikes. The football match that will be held today (Tuesday, December 29) is a very good time to neutralize their two deceptions: the abuse of football and the leniency that they have apparently shown these days for the sake of the truth-finding committee.
Why should people wait until this game is over and then take to the streets? Incidentally, during this game, people should take to the streets so that, regardless of the outcome of this game, we can claim victory on this important day.
Iran has suffered over 400 deaths, many of them children, during the nationwide protests that have been going on for over 2 months. More than 15,000 people have been arrested, and with the criminal nature of the Islamic Republic's ruling forces, we know they are in the worst possible situation.
We, the honorable people of Iran, want you to know that with all the suffering you have endured and with all the blood that has been shed innocently on the ground, we have been victorious in the field. Believe this and do not let the wicked turn this defeat into victory through deception. These days are fateful days that we must be very careful about. Let us not forget what a heavy price many of our loved ones have paid for this revolution to reach this point.
"Let's not forget Mahsa Amini, Sarina Esmailzadeh, Nika Shakermi, Mona Naqib, Hasti Naroui, Kian Pirfalak and the rest of the martyrs."
