This time, the flames are in the lap of the Ministry of Energy.

According to FCNN, the 13-story building of the Ministry of Energy's thermal power plant has been engulfed in flames and burning for more than two days. The fire started at 10 a.m. on Monday morning on the ground floor and is spreading.
Given that the fire occurred in the documentation and archive center, the large volume of the fire has made it difficult to access the center and control the fire. According to reports, part of the western part of the building has subsided slightly and cracks have also appeared at the entrance of the building and are increasing. Therefore, with these interpretations, there is a possibility of complete collapse or subsidence of a part of the building.
But in the meantime, as in the Plasco building incident, there have been many speculations that do not seem far-fetched; first, given the terrible experience of the Plasco building, why did the Tehran Municipality and the Fire Department issue three written warnings to the Ministry of Energy, declaring the building unsafe, but then not only did the Ministry of Energy not pay attention, but the municipality also did not take any other legal action in this regard? Second, why and how did the fire extinguisher suddenly activate? Third, what special documents and records were there in this area that were now lost in such a strange event?
A little thought on these questions will clarify some aspects of the matter, the most important of which is the lack of planning and poor management of the municipality. Unfortunately, municipalities have distanced themselves from their main duties and have devoted all their energy to increasing the collection of fees.
