Multiple gunshots permanently blinded Matin Manani

"Matin Manani" lost his sight forever after being shot in the eye by regime bullets.

Matin Manani, a 25-year-old computer engineering student from Sari, was shot multiple times in the back and front of his head on September 19, 1401 (A.D.). He lost his sight in both eyes as a result of the bullets. Matin has undergone several surgeries to remove the bullets from his body, but these surgeries and trips over a six-month period have only left Matin with huge medical expenses and the pain of losing his sight.

According to Majid Kaveh, Matin Manani's lawyer, he went shopping downtown that unforgettable night, and when he reached the city square, special forces and Nopo officers in black armored suits attacked the crowd in the square. To get away from the crowd, Matin headed towards Sabzeh Maidan Park. As soon as he reached the entrance to the south side of the park, he heard several shots from close range and fell to the ground involuntarily, feeling a severe burning sensation in his eyes.

According to Matin's lawyer, he was shot in the front and back, and there are still numerous bullets in his head, face, neck, chest, abdomen, arms, and hands, which are clearly visible in his X-rays. Matin's critical condition led the emergency room at Amir Mazandarani Hospital in Sari to refuse to admit him and instead transfer him to Bu-Ali Sina Hospital.

It should be noted that due to the severity of the injuries to Matin's eyes and body, the lack of a specialist doctor, and the lack of complete ophthalmological equipment at Bu Ali Sina Hospital, Matin will be transferred to Farabi Ophthalmological Hospital in Tehran.

Unfortunately, after 6 months of multiple surgeries and the destruction of the nerves in Matin's eyes, he has now lost his sight forever.

Matin Manani is just one of thousands of young people who lost their sight as a result of the crimes of the Islamic Republic regime. An event that Iranian history will never forget, but will tell the story of the bravery of the brave men and women of Iran.
