Security officers in Berlin force asylum seekers into prostitution

German media have reported that young asylum seekers, including those under the legal age, are being forced into prostitution at a camp in Berlin by security guards hired to protect them.

According to this report, security agents pay a lot of money for these young refugees.

The report states that these guards meet with young asylum seekers and convince them to accept payment for each sexual encounter.

These guards also convince young men to engage in prostitution and earn good money.

“They have to be of a certain age and attractive enough: from 16 and up, the younger they are, the more expensive they are,” said a guard.

Some refugees have also confirmed this report.

An Afghan male asylum seeker whose asylum application was rejected told reporters that security officers offered him prostitution.

She said she felt ashamed of what she did, but she needed the money. She received 30 euros for each prostitution session.

A social worker working in a refugee camp in Berlin said he saw security officers giving money to refugees.

The Social Adjustment Organization for Labor and Social Services in Berlin has announced that although they have found solid evidence to support this, they will continue to pursue the matter until the full truth about the incident is known.

The United Nations reported in September that 75 percent of young refugees who migrate to Europe are forced into prostitution and sexually abused.
