The physical condition of a Kurdish political prisoner worsens after 11 years in prison

The general condition of Kurdish political prisoner Zeinab Jalalian in Khoy Prison has worsened due to prison authorities' opposition to her medical treatment.
According to the "No to Prison, No to Execution" Human Rights Center, Zeinab Jalalian suffers from pterygium, foot-and-mouth disease, and a severe infection, and so far, her medical treatment outside of prison has been opposed.
He has also been denied access to a doctor and treatment in prison.
In September 2017, Amnesty International considered Zeinab Jalalian's lack of access to medical care to be an example of torture.
Zeinab Jalalian, who is serving her eleventh year in Khoy Prison, is from Maku County and was arrested in March 2007 in Kermanshah.
The Iranian judiciary initially sentenced him to death and then to life imprisonment on charges of war and membership in a Kurdish party.
