“At least seven Iranians killed in Israeli attack on Aleppo”

At least seven Iranians were reportedly killed in an airstrike on Aleppo. Israel, through its foreign minister, confirmed that the strike was carried out by its air force and targeted Iranian forces based in Syria.
According to data from the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the main target of Israel's late-night attack on Aleppo, Syria, on Wednesday, March 27, was an ammunition depot and an Iranian military base in the area, and at least seven Iranians were killed in the attack.
The Nayrab military airport was also targeted by Israeli military aircraft. It is said that this airport is also used by Iranian military forces.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Foreign Minister has also confirmed that the attack on Aleppo was carried out by the country's air force. According to the Jerusalem Post, Israel Katz, in an interview with an Israeli radio station, stated that Israeli fighter jets attacked Iranian targets at the Aleppo airport, and said that the Iranians themselves know that the attack was carried out by Israel.
The official Syrian government news agency, SANA, announced in the late hours of Wednesday that the Israeli army had attacked an industrial complex located northeast of Aleppo.
On Thursday, April 28, while publishing news of the Israeli army's airstrike on the city of Aleppo, the AFP news agency quoted official Syrian state media as saying that the attacks caused damage and casualties, but did not kill anyone.
The AFP news agency, citing eyewitnesses in Aleppo, reported that electricity has also been cut off in parts of the city as a result of these attacks.
Israel has repeatedly stated that it is concerned about the growing influence and military presence of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Syria. The country's military and Benjamin Netanyahu have repeatedly announced in recent weeks that attacks on Iranian and Hezbollah positions in Syria will continue.
This is while the news of the attack on northern Aleppo on Wednesday evening has not yet been officially confirmed by the Israeli army.
The AFP also noted the timing of the possible attack, which came two days after the US government announced its decision to recognize Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights.
On Monday, April 25, the Trump administration recognized Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights.
