A citizen from Torbat Heydariyeh was sentenced to 14 years and six months in prison.

Yasin Jamali Kasrineh, a resident of Torbat Heydariyeh, was sentenced to 14 years and six months in prison by the Tehran Revolutionary Court.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, this citizen from Torbat Heydariyeh, who was arrested by security forces in July of this year, was sentenced to 14 years and six months in prison on Wednesday, January 24, by Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court, headed by Judge Salavati, on charges of "gathering and colluding against the system," "propaganda against the system," "insulting the leadership," and "insulting sacred places."
This sentence was issued to Mr. Jamali Kasrineh at a time when, if confirmed and based on Article 134 of the Islamic Penal Code regarding the consolidation of sentences, only 5 years and six months of this sentence will be enforceable.
According to this report, Yasin Jamali Kasrineh has been sentenced to 5 years and six months in prison for the charge of "gathering and colluding against the regime," 5 years and six months in prison for the charge of "insulting sacred places," one year in prison for the charge of "propaganda against the regime," and two years and six months in prison for the charge of "insulting the leadership."
According to available information, this citizen from Torbat Heydariyeh was arrested by eleven security officers in Torbat Heydariyeh on July 25, and one day after the arrest, he was transferred to the Fata Police Detention Center in Qom city under guard, after the First Investigation Branch of the Torbat Heydariyeh Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office issued a one-month detention order.
According to the Campaign for the Defense of Political and Civil Prisoners, Yasin Jamali Kasrineh, upon completion of his interrogation period, was initially transferred to Qom Coastal Prison and after a while to Evin Prison. Finally, on September 26, he was temporarily released from prison after posting a bail of 200 million Tomans until the end of the trial.
The report also states that Mr. Jamali Kasrineh was transferred several times during his detention from Qom's coastal prison to the Intelligence Department detention center and the Fata Police detention center in the city to extract forced confessions.
This is not the first time that an Iranian citizen has been sentenced to long sentences by the Revolutionary Court and the Iranian judiciary. Previously, Ataollah Rezaei, a resident of Qom who was arrested by security forces in June of this year, was sentenced to a total of 8 years in prison by Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court, headed by Judge Salavati, on charges of “gathering and colluding against the regime,” “propaganda against the regime,” and “insulting the leadership.”
In a report last month, Amnesty International called 2018 the Islamic Republic's "year of shame" and announced that more than seven thousand people, including participants in demonstrations, students, journalists, women's rights activists, environmental activists, labor activists, and ethnic and religious minority rights activists, have been arrested in Iran this year.
The US State Department has also repeatedly condemned the Islamic Republic regime's violent actions against the Iranian people under various pretexts, including attacks on the freedom to choose the type of clothing, as well as the repeated and persistent violations of the rights of Iranian citizens by agents of the regime.
