"Azad Rezaei", a young Kurdish man from Yarsani, was shot by police forces.

"Azad Rezaei" from Kermanshah, a follower of the Yarsan religion, was shot in the head by law enforcement forces.

The Kurdish people have been persecuted by the Islamic Republic regime since the past. Since the beginning of the popular revolution, the Kurdish people have lost the most young people in these protests, but they still stand for the victory and freedom of Iran.

Azad Rezaei, a 25-year-old young man from the Qolkhani tribe and from the village of Banibid, in the Gahvareh district of Dalahu County, was a resident of the Dareh Darij neighborhood in the Mehdi town of Kermanshah.

Azad was killed at 11:00 PM on Monday, March 27, 2023, near Niayesh Square by direct fire from government forces.

According to a relative of Rezaei's family, the police shot him in the head while he was inside his Peugeot 405, and Azad died instantly.

Azad (the driver) was driving around the city with three other friends when the police claimed that he did not pay attention to their checkpoint and therefore shot at him, a claim his family and friends deny.

Azad had only been living together for a year when he was killed by the security forces. Unfortunately, Azad's murder by the government forces has not yet been reported to the media due to threats. It should be noted that Azad's body has been in the forensics office until now and is scheduled to be handed over to his family today.
