Iranian people unite to provide aid to earthquake victims in Khoy

Iranian people from different cities united to provide aid to the earthquake-stricken people of Khoy.

After the earthquake in Khoy, where the people were living in very poor conditions and did not receive any assistance from the government or the Red Crescent, many people came forward to help them and issued appeals to collect donations.

Karim Bagheri, a popular footballer, tried to raise funds to help the people of Khoy so that they could provide basic facilities for the people of Khoy, but unfortunately his account was blocked.

Ali Daei also began his own efforts to help the earthquake-stricken people after hearing the message from the people of Khoy who said, "Unless Ali Daei helps us again, we will not be able to help you."

Ali Karimi also tweeted, "Suppose it's Arbaeen and Khoy is Karbala. Set up service stations. Cook free food and provide free transportation. There are many things you can do. Just assume Khoy is Karbala."

People from the cities of Urmia and Kurdistan united to collect financial aid and consumer goods. The people of Kurdistan gathered at the Zahab Bridge by shouting to collect aid for Khoy. Today is a day of zeal and courage.

The people who came to help the people of Khoy said: "As long as there is such solidarity and empathy between the Turkish and Kurdish peoples, the Islamic Republic will take the dream of divisiveness to its grave."

After humanitarian aid arrived from the cities of Urmia, Salmas, and Soldoz to the city of Khoy, government officials prevented the distribution of humanitarian aid and did not allow it to enter. It is as if this earthquake was deliberately created to destroy Khoy and massacre its people, so that they could draw public attention to helping the people of Khoy and extinguish the fire of the revolutionary uprising.

According to Iranians, Khoy has a population of 200,000, and according to government statistics, 1,000 houses in Khoy have been destroyed. This means that you need to provide shelter, heating, and food for 4,000 to 5,000 people. We Iranians know that you can do these things, but you are not doing anything. But we assume that you do not have the capacity to provide assistance, you who do not have the capacity to care for 5,000 earthquake victims, how can you govern this country of 85 million people? So it is better to pack up your bags and go so that we, the people, can help each other.
