US Army deploys F-15 fighters to the Middle East

The US military announced this morning the deployment of its F-15 fighters to the Middle East.

The US military announced this morning, Saturday, October 14 (October 22), that it has sent a number of fighter jets to the area under the responsibility of the US Central Command with the aim of strengthening air operations in the Middle East. While emphasizing the presence of the fighter jets in the Middle East, the US Central Command announced that the said fighter jets are aimed at strengthening US forces and conducting air operations throughout the Middle East region.

Last week, the US government also dispatched warships and a number of fighter jets to the eastern Mediterranean Sea in support of Israel, in addition to an aircraft carrier.

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin also announced that the aircraft carrier Gerald Ford, along with four missile carriers carrying cruise missiles and several fighter jets, had been dispatched to the Middle East. The US was also considering sending more military aid to Israel, saying that by sending this aid, they were trying to prevent Israel's enemies from exploiting the current situation.

According to Israeli statistics, at least 1,300 Israelis have been killed in Hamas attacks on Israel, 258 of whom were soldiers. Another 3,200 have been injured and 120 have been captured by Hamas forces. Israel's airstrikes on Gaza have also killed about 2,000 people, including 614 children.
