If the hijab was supposed to be made official, why did the Mahsa Amini incident happen?

People and news agencies reacted to photos published on social media from the Bahman 12 march by saying, "If the hijab was supposed to be made official, why did the Mahsa Amini incident happen?"

The march of some elements on February 12 and the publication of various photos provoked reactions from the public and some news media.

In an editorial on Monday, February 13, the newspaper Jomhuri Eslami also referred to the promotional use of the presence of women without a hijab at the 22nd Bahman ceremony, writing: "If the absence of a hijab was to become so official that the presence of women without a hijab at the country's most important revolutionary ceremony would become a promotional subject for the country's official apparatus, and to show the level of acceptance and many fans, the authorities would proudly publish these images, then why did you allow the Mahsa Amini incident to happen?"

Mahsa Amini was killed because of improper hijab (according to the authorities) and not because she was not wearing a hijab. This is despite the fact that the photos published from the 12th of Bahman march, which was organized by government agents, depicted women not wearing a hijab alongside women wearing a chador. A new circus launched by the Islamic Republic regime to so-called declare that the Islamic Republic government has no problem with people not wearing a hijab. A circus that was also launched a few months ago, after which it was revealed that the people not wearing a hijab were government agents.

Many people in different cities and regions also recorded videos and posted them on social media, declaring: "These marches broadcast on the Iranian Broadcasting System are completely false, the streets are very deserted, and no ordinary people have participated in these marches." These videos broadcast on the Iranian Broadcasting System are from previous years.

The question that people have about the Islamic Republic government is how much power is worth to you that you do everything to have it and not lose it? Do you plunder, suppress, arrest, and kill, do you lie to preserve the throne? Now, not only for the people of Iran but for the whole world, your hands are open and you have no choice but to leave. No one in Iran or the world will believe your shows anymore.
