Arrest of Nazila Marufian, a journalist from Saqqez

Nazila Marufian, a student and journalist from Saqqez, was arrested after being summoned to the Evin Prosecutor's Office.
Nazila Marufian was arrested by security forces this morning, Saturday, July 8, after being summoned to the Evin Prosecutor's Office in Tehran.
Ms. Marufian announced in a tweet on her personal page on Tuesday, July 4, that the Ministry of Intelligence had raided her home and, after seizing her laptop, phone, and records, had summoned her to Evin District Court, Branch 1, on Saturday.

He was arrested by security forces this morning, Saturday, July 8, after going to the relevant prosecutor's office in Tehran. The reason for his summons and arrest has not yet been determined.
Nazila Marufian worked as a reporter for Event 24 before her arrest. After a conversation she had with Mahsa (Zina) Amini’s father in November 1401, she was arrested by security forces in Tehran and transferred to Ward 209 of Evin Prison. She was sentenced by Branch 16 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court by Judge Afshari to two years of imprisonment, a 15 million tomans fine, and a 5-year ban on leaving the country on charges of “propaganda activity against the regime” and “spreading lies with the intention of disturbing public opinion” through the publication of an interview with Mahsa Amini’s father.
The reason for the re-arrest of this journalist, who has previously been tried and sentenced on charges, remains unclear.
