Syrian rulers: Interference with women's clothing and hijab is prohibited

Syria's new rulers announced a ban on interfering with women's clothing and hijab, according to a new directive.
The issue of hijab in Islamic countries has become a major challenge in people's lives, to the extent that the issue of not wearing a hijab is addressed more than important issues of the country, and in some cases, it has created obstacles in people's daily lives.
In this regard, the Syrian General Command adopted new guidelines on the clothing of women in Syria. The Syrian General Command stated in the said guidelines: "Interference with women's clothing or making any demands related to their clothing or appearance, including the requirement to wear the hijab, is completely prohibited. We emphasize that personal freedom is guaranteed to everyone and respect for the rights of individuals is the foundation for building a civilized country."
The directive from the Syrian command, which is an Islamic country like Iran, was issued at a time when the issue of the hijab has become a major issue in Iran, and if it is not observed, people are arrested and face heavy fines.
