Human Rights Organization's Request to Amnesty International

Following the unfortunate events that have occurred in Iran for 41 days, from the deadly crackdown on protesters to the fire at Evin Prison, the human rights organization called on Amnesty International to investigate these events.

The human rights organization pointed to the history of the Islamic Republic, which has always concealed the truth and used lies to distort people's minds in order to pursue its own criminal goals. They even have a history of killing prisoners in prisons, which has been normal for them.

The human rights organization called for this investigation by Amnesty International to prevent further deadly repression.

Amnesty International, which last year published a report on the human rights situation in Iran, accused the Islamic Republic's authorities of numerous human rights violations. Now, in response to the Islamic Republic's new violence that has led to deadly repression of the Iranian people, the organization has called on the international community to join the global uprising of Iranians in order to stop this bloody repression and prevent the continued arrests and killings of protesters in Iran.

In a petition published by this organization to support people around the world, it is stated that the security forces of the Islamic Republic are attacking protesters using military weapons and metal bullets.

According to the Dubai (Al Arabiya) Persian network, the organization emphasized that the time has come for countries present at the United Nations Human Rights Council to lift the immunity of Iranian regime officials in order to punish them and hold them accountable for the grave crimes they have committed.

Amnesty International also called on its global audience to sign the petition. Amnesty International said it would call on states to immediately establish an independent mechanism at the United Nations to investigate and ensure accountability for the most serious crimes committed in Iran in its ongoing gross violations of international law.
