Two environmental journalists died in a bus overturn in West Azerbaijan Province

Iranian media reports indicate that two journalists were killed when a bus carrying journalists to Lake Urmia overturned near the city of Naqdeh.
The names of the two journalists have been announced as Mahshad Karimi from ISNA News Agency and Reyhaneh Yasini from IRNA News Agency.
Ali Moradpour, public relations officer at Naqdeh Hospital, denied reports that three people died in the incident, saying, "One of the injured was left under the bus and was thought to have died, but he had a broken leg."
The West Azerbaijan University of Medical Sciences' Emergency Medical Center has also reported that 21 other people were injured in the incident.
Mehr News Agency also reported that two of the injured are in critical condition and 13 of them have been hospitalized in Naqadeh Hospital.
According to ISNA, a bus carrying a group of Iranian journalists who were traveling to the region to visit the "Kani Sib" tunnel overturned on the Urmia-Naghadeh highway at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, July 2nd.
The police commander of Naqdeh city also told Tasnim News Agency that "officers attributed the cause of this painful incident to a technical malfunction and brake failure of the bus carrying the journalists."
