Narges Mohammadi's words about the events in Evin Prison

Last week, the shocking news of the fire in Evin Prison shook the world. Different news stories have been published from different media outlets, popular reports, etc. But what does Narges Mohammadi say about the events in Evin Prison?
Narges Mohammadi is a human rights activist, political prisoner, former member of the Supreme Policy Council of the Reformists for the Consolidation of Unity, and vice president and spokesperson of the Center for Human Rights Defenders. She is currently in Evin Prison.
Narges Mohammadi admitted in her speech that there was activity in the ward a week before the fire. The door between the ward corridor and the staff corridor was closed and locked so that prisoners could not access the exit corridor. Three days before the incident, fire extinguishers were also taken out of the ward under the pretext of charging.
On Saturday, October 13, morning hospital visits were canceled, and the reason was not announced. At noon, the prison siren sounded three times, which was unprecedented. At 9 p.m., the sound of gunshots coming from inside the prison suddenly startled everyone.
The guard shouted, "If you don't go inside, I'll blow your brains out with a bullet." The sound of explosions, bullets, screams of death threats and shots to the brain, and the guards' horrifying screams echoed throughout the ward. Suddenly, the anti-riot guards entered the yard and closed the door. The prison security chief shouted, "You don't have the right to enter this ward," but the forces of repression were outnumbering each other and could not be controlled. It seemed that the guards didn't even know the prison officials and didn't care about their orders.
Tear gas was being fired right outside the gate, and we had to use spray, cigarettes, and burning newspapers to survive.
She continues her request to various organizations as follows: I, Narges Mohammadi, express my concern about the repetition of such events and request human rights authorities, Amnesty International, special rapporteurs on human rights and the High Commissioner for Human Rights, and the European Union Commission on Human Rights to pay serious attention to the situation of prisoners and to oblige the Iranian government to protect their lives and health.
Given the current situation in the country and the spread of public protests, it is feared that some security and military sources will take advantage of fabricated events and existing conditions to endanger the lives of some political prisoners in prisons and then declare it to be a result of unrest.
