Sepideh Qolyan was transferred to Evin Prison to serve 5 years in prison.

The lawyer for civil activist Sepideh Gholian announced that his client will be transferred to Evin Prison to serve his sentence.
Jamal Heydari Manesh, the lawyer for civil rights activist Sepideh Gholian in Iran, announced on his Instagram story on Sunday that Sepideh Gholian had been transferred to Evin Prison on Sunday, July 25, to serve a five-year sentence.
Previously, Ms. Gholian had announced in a video on her Twitter page that she had committed to reporting herself to prison after referring to the execution of Evin Court's sentences and opposing the letter requesting clemency to Khamenei.
Qolyan had released a video saying that judicial authorities had asked him to write a letter requesting a pardon from Khamenei, but after Qolyan objected, he was told "without notice" that he would be transferred to prison. However, he was eventually given a commitment to report to prison on Sunday.
Sepideh Qolyan, who was initially arrested on the sidelines of the Haft Tappeh workers' protests, was released a short time later, but was arrested along with Esmaeil Bakhshi after revealing forced confessions and torture. After a while, she was temporarily released on bail of 500 million tomans on November 24, along with several labor activists in Iran. She was also arrested again on Saturday night, November 25, at her father's house after attending the popular protests in November, and was finally temporarily released on December 12, after posting bail of 200 million tomans.
This civil activist was sentenced to seven years in prison for "gathering and colluding with the intention of acting against national security," seven years in prison for being a member of the Gam group, one year and six months in prison for propagandizing against the regime, and two years and six months for spreading lies. According to Sepideh Gholian's lawyer, she has been transferred to prison to serve a five-year sentence.
He also previously mentioned on Twitter his personal experience with televised confessions during his detention, writing that during the production of the television program "Burnt Design in the Interrogation Room," a journalist from the Iranian Broadcasting System named "Ameneh Sadat Zabihpour" gave Sepideh Qolyan a pre-prepared text for a televised confession to read in front of the camera.
The US State Department has repeatedly and on various occasions condemned the violent confrontations and widespread repression of protesters, as well as the repeated and persistent violations of the rights of Iranian citizens by the ruling regime in that country.
