"Syed Abul Hassan Nawab": Israel wants division between Shiites and Sunnis

Seyyed Abul Hassan Nawab stated in his speech: "Israel seeks to create division between Shiites and Sunnis and all Muslims."
Sayyed Abul Hassan Nawab, chairman of the board of trustees of the University of Religions and Denominations, delivered a speech at the ceremony commemorating Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Hamas political bureau, while offering condolences over his martyrdom and saying: "Israel seeks division and hatred between Shiites and Sunnis and all Muslims. Sectarianism, attempts to divide Islamic countries, support for terrorist groups, and attacks on Islamic countries are among the efforts of the Zionist regime in the Islamic world with the aim of weakening Islamic countries."
In his speech, while referring to the Israeli war in Gaza, he added: "Martyr Haniyeh lost a large number of his children in the recent Gaza war, but he never surrendered and achieved his dream, which was martyrdom. Israel martyred our guest in our country, Islamic Iran, and we will avenge the martyrdom of our guest. For almost a century, the issue of the occupation of Palestine by a cancerous tumor called the Zionist regime has been considered one of the important issues of the Islamic world. Muslim scholars have specifically supported the issue of Palestine and have reacted to this issue in accordance with their responsibility. Shiite scholars, such as Ayatollah Golpaykani and Ayatollah Khoei, have also expressed concern about this issue and sympathized with the Palestinians from the very beginning of the occupation of Palestine."
He also added in response to the spread of the Palestine issue in cyberspace: "Some anti-revolutionary elements and other groups opposed to the Palestine issue within the country are trying to downplay the important issue of Palestine in cyberspace and say, why Palestine and why us? We must answer these people by saying that the Palestine issue goes back to our being Muslims. We are Muslims and we are responsible to the Muslims of the world because supporting Palestine goes back to our Islam."
