Murder of a German tourist by an Iranian-born Islamist

An Iranian-born Islamist killed a German tourist by shouting "Allahu Akbar."

According to the "Balatarin" news network, "Arman Rajabpour Miandoab", born in 1997, is an Islamist who attacked passersby with a knife and hammer in a tourist area of Paris near the Eiffel Tower. In this attack, a German tourist was stabbed to death in front of his wife. He also injured two others in the 16th arrondissement of Paris.

Arman Rajabpour, a resident of the Essonne area in the Paris suburbs, lives with his parents. He was previously imprisoned for four years for planning a violent attack. After his arrest, he expressed his sadness over the deaths of Muslims in Afghanistan and Palestine, claiming that he could not bear the deaths of Muslims and that he thought France was involved in the matter.

According to French Interior Minister Gérard Dermenin, the intervention of a taxi driver ended the first phase of the attacker's attacks, and police pursued Arman to the 16th arrondissement. In the meantime, Arman Rajabpour attacked two other passersby with a hammer, one of whom was a foreign national and the other a 60-year-old Frenchman. The Interior Minister announced that the attacker was released from prison in 2020 and was undergoing treatment for mental health problems.

French Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne also reacted to Arman Rajabpour's attacks, saying: "This country will never surrender to terrorism."

French President Emmanuel Macron also posted on the social network "X" and expressed condolences to the family of the German citizen, stating: "This incident is a terrorist attack and the anti-terrorism prosecutor's office will investigate this matter."

According to experts, most of this violence is rooted in the Middle East crises and radical Islamists.
