Mohammad Hossein Ahangari was released from Greater Tehran Prison under electronic monitoring.

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Hossein Ahangari, one of the detainees of the nationwide protests of November 2019, was released from Greater Tehran Prison under electronic monitoring. He will serve the remainder of his 3-year sentence outside prison and with restricted movement.
According to HRANA News Agency, the news agency of the Human Rights Activists in Iran, Mohammad Hossein Ahangari, one of the detainees of the nationwide protests of November 2019, was released from Greater Tehran Prison on Saturday, March 27, 2021, with an electronic monitoring device.
Mohammad Hossein Ahangari was arrested by Ministry of Intelligence agents in Aligudarz city, Lorestan province, on December 25, 2019, during the nationwide protests known as the November protests, and then transferred to Tehran.
He was held for two days at the Islamshahr Intelligence Department and then transferred to Evin Prison. Mr. Ahangari was finally released on bail on December 11 of the same year.
In November 2020, he was sentenced to 3 years in prison by Branch 101 of the Islamshahr Criminal Court on the charge of "setting fire to a Basij base."
Mr. Ahangari was transferred to prison on December 8, 2019, to serve his sentence.
Mohammad Hossein Ahangari is the son of Hamid and a native of Islamshahr city.
