Masoud Dehnamaki: No one can wear a hijab with banners and billboards

In response to the mandatory hijab, Masoud Dehnamaki said that no one can wear a hijab with banners and billboards.

In recent days and weeks, many women have been harassed by authorities for not wearing the mandatory hijab. Many entertainment centers, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. have even been sealed off due to non-compliance with the mandatory hijab in these places.

Many reactions were published on social media by various people regarding the treatment of the mandatory hijab, and in this regard, legal cases were also opened for celebrities who appeared in public places without the mandatory hijab, and penalties were imposed on them.

Writer and cinema director Masoud Dehnamaki also reacted to the mandatory hijab and the installation of banners promoting hijab in various cities across the country, writing on his Twitter page: "For forty years, they did not do cultural work regarding hijab and chastity, and now that they want to work according to urgency, they have chosen the methods of forty years ago. Today, no one can wear hijab with banners and billboards, whether it is from the words of the infallible or from Western thinkers. The problem is that they still focus on the effect, not the cause."

Pedram Karimi, an Iranian Broadcasting Corporation (IRCC) presenter, also provided an explanation on his personal page regarding the widespread installation of these billboards. The text of this explanation can be seen in the photo below.

There have been many other reactions from the public regarding the promotion of the hijab by the regime's forces. The issue of poverty, addiction, poor economy, unemployment, corruption and other problems of society have been set aside and the issue of the hijab has been given priority, which is being pursued intensively by the regime, and various actions and penalties have been considered for those who do not comply with the mandatory hijab law.
