Army and Revolutionary Guards warn of attack against Iran

The Islamic Republic's army and Revolutionary Guard Corps warned of a military attack against Iran in separate statements.
They gave.

The Islamic Republic of Iran's army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps separately issued a statement about a military attack on Iran on the anniversary of the liberation of Khorramshahr and following reports of an Israeli attack on Iran's nuclear facilities.

The Islamic Republic of Iran Army issued a statement on May 24, saying: "The army forces are ready to defend Iran's territorial integrity, independence, and security to the last drop of blood, alongside other armed forces. Today, we commemorate the anniversary of the liberation of Khorramshahr in a situation where the enemies of the Islamic regime are trying to weaken the sacred regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran through various plots and conspiracies."

The Revolutionary Guard Corps also issued a statement on June 23, writing: "The Corps is on the trigger and will give a decisive, regrettable, and unimaginable response to any hostile action by the enemy." The Corps also referred to the threats from the United States and Israel and added: "The response of this force to any aggression will be in a way that will change the strategic equations of power in West Asia."

Hossein Ashtari, security advisor to the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, also said today, referring to the negotiations between Iran and the United States on the nuclear program: "Stopping enrichment is a red danger. They say if you want peaceful energy, we will give it. The biggest mistake would be to accept this offer. They are reneging on their promises and are jeopardizing our comfort and security."

Speaking to the military in Mazandaran province, he emphasized what he called "Iran's deterrent power," adding: "They are concerned that the Islamic Republic's power has increased in various areas. The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have become very powerful. A hypersonic stealth missile can pierce the heart of the Zionist regime in less than eight minutes."

Former head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Fereydoun Abbasi, also said in a statement about the Iran-US negotiations: "If we want the negotiations to end in favor of the Iranian nation, the armed forces must be on the trigger during the negotiations."

The Iranian Foreign Minister also warned in a letter addressed to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the President of the United Nations Security Council, and the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, writing: "Iran will respond decisively to any Israeli adventure."

Speculation about the possibility of Israeli military action against Iran intensified when the American news network CNN reported that Israel was preparing to attack Iran's nuclear facilities.
