Pope Francis: We need an international treaty to control artificial intelligence

Pope Francis, while expressing concern about the spread of artificial intelligence, announced that we need an international treaty to control artificial intelligence.
Pope Francis, the leader of the world's Catholics, expressed concern about the increasing spread and development of artificial intelligence, stating that artificial intelligence must be used within the framework of ethical principles.
Pope Francis is scheduled to attend the G7 summit in Italy from June 13-15 and make his call for the control of artificial intelligence. The G7 president, Giorgia Meloni, will host political leaders from Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Japan and the United States at the upcoming summit in Italy.
Pope Francis also dedicated his message on peace to artificial intelligence, stressing the need for an international treaty to ensure that AI is used within ethical principles. It is believed that if AI progresses at the current rate, in the not too distant future we will see threats to “human privacy, copyright law” and even human life in general.
Artificial intelligence has also created many concerns for religious leaders, by enabling people in all fields to create and produce anything they need in an extraordinary way, which has prompted the entire world to find a way to control and use it within a specific framework.
