Prince Reza Pahlavi's message of warning and hope, a call for a final blow to the Islamic Republic

Prince Pahlavi's message of warning and hope to the Iranian people and the call for a final blow to the Islamic Republic emphasize the unity and decisive role of the Iranian people.

In the wake of recent political and security developments, Reza Pahlavi issued a detailed message, referring to the current situation in Iran and the announced ceasefire, and emphasizing the key role of the people in determining the final fate of the Islamic Republic.

This message, published in a tense regional and domestic atmosphere, contains a combination of criticism, hope, and a call for patience and preparation.

In his message to the Iranian people, Prince Pahlavi said:

"My dear compatriots,

The great nation of Iran,

I salute all of you who stood for the freedom and retake of Iran during these 100 days, who sacrificed themselves to shield themselves from bullets, and who risked their lives during the past 40 days to risk bombing.

I know that the news of the two-week ceasefire between the Islamic Republic and the United States and Israel has discouraged many of you; but today is not a time for despair, but a time for greater belief in victory. What has happened in these 40 days is precisely in line with the demands that the Iranian people made of the international community and, after sacrificing their lives in the streets of Iran, also shouted during the Global Day of Action demonstrations on February 14 (25 Bahman).

The blows inflicted on the Islamic Republic in just 40 days are unprecedented and irreparable for this regime. Eliminating Ali Khamenei, the murderer of tens of thousands of brave Iranians, is alone a historic achievement for our nation. Meanwhile, in addition to him, dozens of commanders and main perpetrators of repression in the IRGC, Basij, and the regime’s intelligence services were also eliminated. Thousands of repressive forces were killed. The command and control structure of repression has been paralyzed and collapsed. The military infrastructure, which was built not to defend Iran but to export terrorism and instability, has been destroyed. The regime’s financial resources for repression at home and terrorism abroad have been severely reduced. Today, the Islamic Republic is more isolated and hated in the region and the world than ever.

What is left for this regime is to rely on foreign mercenaries and a bloodthirsty and bloodthirsty minority whose interests lie in the survival of this regime; a regime that has suffered a crushing defeat in the field of reality, but by cutting off the internet for 90 million Iranians and through its lying machine, it still poses and boasts of victory. Those who claimed that they would never accept a ceasefire, today have lost their leader and commanders, have lost the war, have accepted the ceasefire, and have been dragged to the negotiating table for complete surrender.

But we knew from the beginning that the Islamic Republic would not fall simply by removing the leadership and weakening the apparatus of repression through airstrikes. That is why I emphasized to you in all my messages that it is we, the Iranian people, who must deliver the final blow to the weakened regime and overthrow it.

I want you to know that I am closely monitoring your situation in Iran. I know that the Islamic Republic has been greatly weakened, but its ability to suppress it has not yet been completely destroyed. My whole goal is that the final action to overthrow the Islamic Republic will be with the least cost in life. Each and every one of your lives is precious to me. So, I ask you to be patient, protect yourselves, and wait for the decisive moment with faith in victory and full preparation. In the meantime, I and all our compatriots abroad will shout with all our might your demand, which is to end the Islamic Republic.

Believe that no force in the world can stand against the power of a united nation. This time, the Islamic Republic has no escape or chance for survival, and the great nation of Iran will be overthrown by your powerful hands.

"Perseverant Iran"

This message was issued at a time when Iran's political atmosphere is still affected by domestic pressures, widespread popular dissatisfaction, and regional developments. In this statement, Reza Pahlavi has attempted to present a narrative of the nearness of a political turning point by emphasizing the "weakening of the structure of repression" and the "need for final action by the people."

At the same time, his emphasis on “patience” and “reducing the cost of life” indicates that concerns about continued repression and violence still play an important role in the calculations of the opposition to the Islamic Republic. This message can be seen as an attempt to maintain the morale of the protesters while simultaneously managing expectations in a situation where the future of Iran’s political developments remains uncertain.

Despite the decisive language of this statement, the realization of such a scenario will still depend on complex factors, including the level of internal cohesion, the response of power institutions, and international developments.
