White House on the possibility of an Iranian attack on Saudi Arabia: We will take action without hesitation

A White House spokesman said that the United States is concerned about Iranian threats against Saudi Arabia and will not hesitate to respond and take action if necessary.

American and Saudi officials told the Wall Street Journal that Riyadh and Washington are on high alert after receiving information that Iran may be preparing to attack Saudi Arabia and Iraq in the near future.

According to Saudi officials, the Islamic Republic's intention with these attacks is to divert public opinion from domestic protests, and the US National Security Council spokesman also said about the Islamic Republic's move: "The country is fully prepared to respond to this possible attack."
