According to the Iran International News Agency, workers in the oil, gas, petrochemical, and steel industries joined the strikes.

In the past, official employees, as well as contract employees in oil, gas, and petrochemical companies in various cities, in addition to uniting with the protesters of the revolutionary uprising, joined the protests and nationwide strikes due to the lack of their demands. Today, Monday, May 24, 1402, workers in the oil, gas, petrochemical, and steel industries continued their strike, demanding a 79 percent salary increase.

In addition to them, workers working in the Shadegan Steel Project, contractor workers at the "Dar Aloo" Copper Company in Kerman, workers at the "Madkoosh" Steel Company in Bandar Abbas, electrical and precision instrument workers at the "Gachsaran" petrochemical project, workers at the "Ramco" and "Jahan Pars" companies at Sarcheshmeh Copper, workers at the "Iman Sazan" Company in Kangan, and workers at the "Petrofrasaz" Company at the "Kuh Mobarak" petrochemical plant in Jask also joined these strikes today.

With a large number of employees of the most important industries in Iran joining the strikes and closing factories and companies, the economic back of the system will break. The people who have been oppressed by the system for demanding justice for their outstanding demands, by joining the strikes, announced that they want the fall of this system. A system that, despite Iran's vast wealth, is unable to provide for the rights and benefits of the employees of Iran's most important industries.
