America’s Spiritual Father Lived in Christ and Rests in Christ

Reverend William Franklin Graham, the most famous and renowned evangelical Christian preacher in American history, passed away last Wednesday, the 2nd of Esfand, after a long struggle with lung cancer.
He was given the title of America’s Spiritual Father due to his profound knowledge of God’s Word and his continuous efforts and pursuit in spreading and preaching it. Throughout his lifetime, his entire endeavor was to convey God’s Word, His unparalleled message and great work to the ears of the people. In this path, his simple and fluent expression as well as his numerous travels made many people eager for the true Word of God.
Inspired by God’s message, he was in contact with all walks of life and various beliefs. His persistence and strong will in the important matter of preaching were greatly admirable, so much so that Ronald Reagan, the President of the United States at the time, presented him with the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1983. Additionally, the last seven U.S. Presidents—Nixon, Gerald Ford, Carter, Bush, Bush Jr., Obama, and Trump—held him in very high regard and were always supportive of him.
It is well to know that Billy Graham was America’s Spiritual Father, because his effort every day was to become increasingly like Jesus Christ, and his only example was God and His heartfelt Word, and now he rests peacefully in Jesus Christ.
