A Greeting to Mr. Mohammad Javad Zarif

I, Shiva Peiran, born in Iran and resident of Sweden, have decided to defend my beliefs and those of millions of others, and most importantly, the Holy Bible, which is the book of millions of Christians and Jews, and to inform you that the Holy Bible is in no way comparable to the Quran as interpreted by Islamic or Jewish scholars.

The Holy Bible is a historical and sacred book, with a history of more than a thousand years before the birth of Christ, compiled four hundred years before the birth of Jesus Christ. This is while Islam emerged six hundred years after the birth of Jesus Christ in the Middle East. It is worth noting that all historical evidence points to this fact.

Mr. Zarif, this very book that you believe has been interpreted by the Jews! It is a bearer of holiness, love, and the good news of human salvation, which includes the birth of Jesus Christ and an account of God’s great deeds for the salvation of humanity through the people of Israel. The Book of Esther describes the deeds of the Lord for the salvation of His chosen people, in which more than two billion Christians and Jews around the world believe.

As a Christian girl who believes in the birth, crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ after three days, I decided to write this letter.

Mr. Zarif, my question is this! How can you deny the role of a Jewish woman in the salvation of her people? While the Islamic Republic of Iran is currently engaged in the assassination, persecution, imprisonment, and torture of Christian and Jewish citizens in Iran and also attempting to close their places of worship?!! Would it not be better, instead of baseless statements and accusing these people of interpreting and tampering with the Holy Bible, to look at your blood-stained hands and see what role you are currently playing in the persecution of these people, not three thousand years ago!

The Islamic Republic of Iran insists so much on Israel’s gratitude toward Iran that it seems to be running the Achaemenid Empire! While it is not hidden from sight that the Islamic Republic of Iran censors, deletes, and alters not only the history of Judaism and the world, but also the thousands of years of history of the Iranian people!

Therefore, I am grateful to God, as Jesus Christ said in the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 10, verses 28-30: “Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. Mr. Zarif, by erasing Israel from the map of the world, you cannot diminish the righteousness of God’s people and the sanctity of the heavenly book!”

You call the Book of Esther a lie! Do you also have a dispute with Moses? In the Book of Exodus, Chapter 34, verse 10: “The Lord said: ‘I am making a covenant with you. Before all your people I will do wonders that have never been done in any nation in all the world. The people you live among will see the works of the Lord, for it is an awesome thing I will do with you.'”

What will you say to Jacob: In the Torah, the Book of Genesis, Chapter 35, verses 10-13: “God said to him, ‘Your name is Jacob, but you will no longer be called Jacob; your name will be Israel.’ So he named him Israel. And God said to him, ‘I am God Almighty; be fruitful and increase in number. A nation and a community of nations will come from you, and kings will come from your body. The land I gave to Abraham and Isaac I also give to you, and I will give this land to your descendants after you.'”

Mr. Mohammad Javad Zarif, by reading the books of the Old Testament, we will witness that not one of the prophets and messengers in the Holy Bible was willing to bow down before the apparent glory and glittering splendor of the Persian kings during their captivity in Iran. Rather, the obedience of the Jewish prophets and messengers to the Holy God caused an ancient and impure hatred that was passed down from generation to generation among Iranians, and the Islamic Republic of Iran, by fanning the flames of this issue, has further endeavored to spread this hatred between these two peoples.

Isaiah, Chapter 45, verses 18-20:

For this is what the Lord says—

he who created the heavens,

he is God;

he who fashioned and made the earth,

he founded it;

he did not create it to be empty,

but formed it to be inhabited—

he says:

“I am the Lord,

and there is no other.

I have not spoken in secret,

from somewhere in a land of darkness;

I have not said to Jacob’s descendants,

‘Seek me in vain.’

I, the Lord, speak the truth;

I declare what is right.

“Gather together and come;

assemble, you fugitives from the nations.

Ignorant are those who carry about idols of wood,

who pray to gods that cannot save.”

Therefore, I am grateful to God for the cross of Jesus Christ, which forgives the sins of all who believe in Him, and through faith in Him, He has called us to fellowship with Himself.

May the grace, peace, and salvation of Jesus Christ be with you.
