Israel establishes website for Iranians to tackle water crisis

The Israeli Prime Minister, in a video message on social media, said that Israel intends to help the people of Iran deal with the water crisis. He announced that a website and a Telegram channel in Persian have been launched for this purpose.
Benjamin Netanyahu announced the launch of a website and a Telegram channel in Persian on Sunday (June 10) to educate people about the water crisis in Iran. In the video, which is in English, the Israeli prime minister pours a glass of water and drinks it, saying to the camera: “Today I have an unprecedented proposal for Iran related to water.”
He went on to call the Iranian people “victims of an oppressive and tyrannical regime” that “deprives them of the water they need.” Netanyahu said, “Israel stands with the Iranian people, and that is why I want to help save the lives of many Iranians.”
He continued, referring to statistics from the Iranian Meteorological Organization, saying that 96 percent of the country's land is suffering from some degree of drought, and referred to the words of Issa Kalantari, the former Minister of Agriculture, who said that 50 million Iranians will be forced to leave their homes due to environmental damage.
In the video, which lasts two minutes and 17 seconds, Netanyahu says that Israel is also facing a water challenge.
Instead, he said, the country has created advanced technologies to solve the problem, using them to treat and recycle about 90 percent of its wastewater, “more than any other country in the world.”
Netanyahu emphasized: "Israel has the knowledge necessary to prevent an environmental disaster in Iran, and I want to share this knowledge with the Iranian people."
He expressed regret that Iran does not allow Israelis to travel to its territory, saying, "That's why we have to be creative."
The Israeli Prime Minister then announced the launch of a website in Persian that contains a detailed plan that teaches how Iranians can treat and recycle their wastewater.
"We will show how Iranian farmers can save their crops and feed their families," he said.
Netanyahu continues: "The Iranian regime chants 'Death to Israel,' while Israel chants 'Long live the Iranian people.'"
At the end of this video message, which was posted on social media, the address of a website and the address of a Telegram channel are mentioned.
The water crisis in Iran has become a very serious problem in recent decades. Mohammad Bagher Nobakht, a government spokesman, said in May this year that the cabinet had approved the "National Water Group" program to deal with water stress.
A budget of 1,600 billion tomans is planned for this project, of which, according to Nobakht, 700 billion will come from the Ministry of Energy's resources and 900 billion tomans will be provided by the Planning and Budget Organization.
Iran has not yet responded to the Israeli Prime Minister's video message and the country's move to establish a Persian-language website to educate on dealing with the water shortage crisis in Iran.
