Destruction of IRGC ammunition and weapons depots in Homs, Syria

Ammunition and weapons depots of the Revolutionary Guards and militias were destroyed in the Syrian province of Homs.

This morning, Saturday, April 29, 2022 (April 29), ammunition and weapons depots of the Revolutionary Guards and Khamenei's militia (Lebanese Hezbollah) were destroyed at the Duba'a military airport on the outskirts of Homs, Syria.

According to Reuters, the Assad regime's air defenses intercepted an Israeli attack over Homs province, which resulted in casualties and material damage, but the Israeli military has declined to comment on the matter.

As a result of this destruction, due to the ammunition stored in the warehouses, loud explosions were heard and a large fire was observed at the site. So far, there is no information available about the casualties of this incident. It should be noted that in April of this year, Dubai Airport was targeted for the second time.

On April 2 of this year, Israeli missiles targeted military bases of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iranian militias in Homs (where Hezbollah's weapons depot is located). Syrian state media also reported that Syrian air defenses intercepted an Israeli attack over Homs the previous day, which resulted in the injury of six soldiers and material damage.
