Those arrested in nationwide protests

The protests of Shahrivar, 1401, began on September 16, following the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini (Zina) as a result of the actions of the moral security police patrol in Tehran. These protests spread to at least 85 cities and 18 universities in 29 provinces of the country.
These protests, which have remained strong to this day, have led to the arrest of hundreds of people and the killing and injury of dozens of protesters, including children.
In recent days, 6 citizens, including 3 students, named Salim Pishdad, Sajjad Jiriyai, Javad Azad, Adel Mansouri, Sajjad Sadeghi (former radio host and expert), Sepideh Salarvand (anthropologist, writer and child rights activist) were arrested by security forces in the cities of Naqdeh and Tehran. Two of these students, Javad Azad and Adel Mansouri, were transferred to Greater Tehran Prison.
Salim Pishdad, from the village of Qarna in the Naqdeh province, was arrested by security forces in his private home. So far, there is no information available about his whereabouts or the charges brought against this citizen.
Also, 22-year-old Shakiba Hoshyar, a mechanical engineering student at Razi University of Kermanshah, was arrested in front of the university and transferred to an unknown location.
In a continuation of the recent arrests, a couple named Afaf Ebadi and Hamid Khalilavi, residents of Ahvaz, were arrested during nationwide protests in the city and taken to an unknown location. It should be noted that security forces searched their home after arresting the couple.
Nine other citizens were arrested by security forces in the cities of Mazandaran, Qazvin, Tehran and Chabahar. One of these citizens was transferred to Evin Prison. The students were identified as Mohammad Velayati, a chemical engineering student at Noshirvani University of Technology in Mazandaran, Mirshahin Fatemi, a cultural studies master’s student at the University of Science and Culture in Tehran, Hamed Khalili, a political science master’s student at the International University in Qazvin, and Mohammad Javad Khajovi, a cinema student at Pars University of Architecture and Art. Mohammad Khajovi was also transferred to Evin Prison.
Also, 5 women were arrested in Chabahar city. The identities of 3 of them, Fatemeh Baluch Kari, Mehrnaz Omarzai, 17, who suffers from epilepsy, and Sara Baluchi, 20, have been revealed. In addition, the Chabahar Intelligence Department has informed the families of these detainees not to publicize the arrest in order to release them, but the detainees were transferred to Zahedan.
The number of detainees is said to be increasing.
