Arrest of 4 family members of those killed in November 2019 protests

HRANA News Agency – Today, Monday, July 10, Sakineh Ahmadi, Rahimeh Yousefzadeh, and Mahboobeh Ramezani, the mothers of three of the victims of the November 2019 protests, were arrested by security forces in Tehran. At the same time, Saeed Damour, the brother of another victim of the November 2019 protests, was arrested at his home.
According to HRANA News Agency, the news agency of the Human Rights Activists Association in Iran, today, Monday, July 10, 2022, four family members of those who died in the November 2019 protests were arrested.
Sakineh Ahmadi, the mother of Ebrahim Kebatdar, Rahimeh Yousefzadeh, the mother of Navid Behboudi, and Mahboobeh Ramezani, the mother of Pejman Gholipour, were arrested at Ms. Yousefzadeh's private home in Tehran.
At the same time, Saeed Damour, the brother of Vahid Damour, another victim of the November 2019 protests, was arrested at his home in Karaj.
Sakineh Ahmadi is the mother of Ebrahim Kebatdar. Ebrahim Kebatdar (born on February 19, 1989 in Tabriz - died on November 15, 2019 in Karaj) was one of the victims of the nationwide protests of November 2019 in Iran.
Rahimeh Yousefzadeh is the mother of Navid Behboudi. Navid Behboudi (born September 17, 1979 – died November 16, 2019 in the city of Quds) was one of the victims of the nationwide protests of November 1998 in Iran.
Mahboobeh Ramezani is the mother of Pejman Gholipour. Pejman Gholipour (born September 27, 1980 – died November 16, 2019) was one of the victims of the nationwide protests of November 2019 in Iran.
Saeed Damour is the brother of Vahid Damour. Vahid Damour (born June 17, 1989 - died November 16, 2019 in Fardis, Karaj) was one of the victims of the nationwide protests of November 1998 in Iran.
It should be noted that the November protests refer to a series of nationwide protests that began on Friday, November 14, 2019, with the announcement of an unprecedented increase in gasoline prices in dozens of Iranian cities, with an unprecedented presence of protesters on the streets, and continued for several days. Mohammad Javad Kolivand, a representative of the people of Karaj in the parliament, said that these protests took place in 719 locations across the country. Seyyed Hossein Naqvi Hosseini, the then spokesman for the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the parliament, also announced the number of people arrested in these protests at around 7,000. According to reports from human rights organizations, hundreds of people also died as a result of these bloody protests.
