Ceremony to receive Cyrus the Great's gold stamp and medal at the National Museum of Israel

The National Museum of Israel has received a Cyrus the Great gold stamp and medal, newly issued by the Israel Stamp and Medal Authority. This is the first time in the world that a Cyrus the Great gold stamp and medal have been issued.
In a significant move, the National Museum of Israel received on Monday afternoon a newly issued Cyrus the Great gold stamp and medal from the Israel Stamp and Medal Authority. This is the first time in the world that a Cyrus the Great gold stamp and medal have been issued.
According to Israel Radio, in recognition of Cyrus the Great's services to the ancient Jewish nation, the State of Israel issued a Cyrus the Great stamp and also invented a pure gold medal.
In a ceremony attended by hundreds of guests and cultural enthusiasts in Israel, the Israel Museum in Jerusalem also received the Cyrus the Great pure gold medal.
This medal was awarded to the director of the Israel Museum by the Federation of Iranian Jews in New York. Parvaneh Saraf attended the ceremony on behalf of that federation, and Mr. James Schneider, Director of the Israel Museum, and Mr. Yaron Ratson, Director of the Israel Stamps and Medals Department, were present at the ceremony.
