The head of the judiciary, emphasizing the efforts of hegemonic countries, including the United States, to influence the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, thanked the Iranian delegation and the President of our country for the positions taken at the organization's recent summit in Istanbul.
According to Tir Press, citing the Public Relations Department of the Judiciary, Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani, in today's (Monday) meeting of the highest judicial officials, congratulated the births of Imam Muhammad Taqi (AS), Imam Ali (AS) and Army Day, and pointed out that today's world needs justice and spirituality more than ever. He considered the tendency towards false mysticism as a result of this need and, of course, a wrong path to achieving true spirituality, and said: The pure Imams (AS) have true, formative and legislative guardianship over different worlds, and following the guardianship of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) is the healing prescription for today's world.
**Love for the Ahlul Bayt (AS) is a means for drawing closer to and developing human behavior.
The head of the judiciary, expressing hope for the success of benefiting from the holy lights of the pure Imams (AS), called for greater efforts to introduce the guardianship of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) to the world, adding: "Love for the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) is a means of approaching and developing human behavior, and in addition, introducing the guardianship of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) to today's world is also a great success that we must strive to achieve."
** The tendency of young people to perform I'tikaf is an example of following the path of the Ahlul Bayt (AS).
Ayatollah Amoli Larijani considered explaining the justice of the Commander of the Faithful Ali (AS) and introducing it as a religious and Quranic model to the people as an undeniable necessity in a world where great powers are doing everything they can to prevent oppression. Referring to the arrival of the spiritual days of the end of the age, he described the tendency of people, especially young people, to perform I'tikaf as an example of an effort to achieve spirituality and follow the path of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), and said: "The return of young people to spirituality in Islamic Iran is a sign of the spiritual growth of society and a response to those who consider the young generation to be a generation far from spirituality and morality."
**The Iranian army is ideological and powerful.
The head of the judiciary, congratulating the Army Day and appreciating the army's ceaseless and impeccable efforts and efforts in ensuring the country's security and protecting the status of martyrs and veterans of the army and their families, stated: "The army of the Islamic Republic of Iran has always been evolving during the revolution and is a doctrinal and powerful army that considers its struggle as worship, and such an army is completely different from armies that are ready to take human lives for money anywhere in the world."
** Saudi Arabia has no right to comment on Iran
Ayatollah Amoli Larijani then referred to the holding of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation summit in Istanbul and the anti-Iranian positions of some members of this organization during the summit, expressing regret over these positions and saying: "It is surprising and regrettable that an organization that was created to confront the Zionist regime is today targeting countries that are at the forefront of confronting this regime and making completely false accusations against them in its statement."
The head of the judiciary, emphasizing the efforts of hegemonic countries, including the United States, to influence the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, pointed to Saudi Arabia's dark and shameful history of committing violence and killing innocent people and creating terrorist and evil groups, and stated: "It is regrettable that such a country, with its lobbies against the Islamic Republic of Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon, which are the pride of the Islamic world in the fight against the usurping Zionist regime, would issue such a statement."
Ayatollah Amoli Larijani thanked the Iranian delegation and the President of our country for their response and positions at this summit, adding: "A country like Saudi Arabia, with its dark record of aggression against Yemen and the killing of innocent children and women, has no right to comment on Iran. We hope that in the future, with the advice of government officials and pressure from the elites of the Islamic world, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation will correct its course and return to its principles of defending Islamic countries in confronting the Zionist regime."
** Emphasis on addressing the flood victims' situation more quickly and resolving their problems
In another part of his speech, the head of the judiciary referred to the recent floods in some provinces of the country and, while offering condolences to the families of those who died in the floods, called for the situation of the flood victims to be addressed as soon as possible and their problems to be resolved.
Ayatollah Amoli Larijani said: Judicial officials in the flood-affected provinces should accompany the provincial executive officials in providing assistance and compensation to the extent possible, and the General Inspectorate of the country should also consider monitoring the process of the executive bodies' handling of the problems of the flood-affected people.
** Americans have no qualms about inventing and publishing lies and ridiculous statements.
In the final part of his speech, the head of the judiciary referred to the recent attacks on human rights in the United States and the report of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of that country that "contains false claims against the Islamic Republic of Iran." Condemning such reports that are constantly repeated, he said: "The Americans have once again shown that they are cruel and unfaithful in all areas and have no qualms about inventing and publishing false and disgusting statements."
Ayatollah Amoli Larijani emphasized that this report contains unjustified insults and baseless and false claims against the Islamic Republic of Iran and our country's judiciary, adding: "One is surprised that the official apparatus of a country that claims human rights and global authority makes such false statements and, in the midst of it, says that because we do not have an embassy in Iran, we have relied on popular reports and "NGOs." Such an argument is an excuse worse than a sin for you to accept any lie from the forces opposing a country and publish it officially."
The head of the judiciary then referred to some of the cases specified in the US State Department report, including an allegation of issuing a death sentence for murder, and said: "In the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran, we do not have the death penalty for murder, but rather, it is retribution, which is a kind of right, a right that the relatives of the deceased have, and this right is not necessarily always exercised because sometimes the relatives of the deceased waive their right to retribution. Therefore, the death penalty for murder is a ridiculous statement."
** The claim of execution for insulting high-ranking officials of the country is a lie.
Ayatollah Amoli Larijani also declared the claim made about executions on charges of insulting high-ranking officials of the country and conspiring against national security as false, adding: "The report also claims that enmity with God also carries a death sentence, while what they are referring to is the jurisprudential and legal discussion of moharebeh, which has its own specific conditions."
The head of the judiciary considered the Americans' criticism of some executions related to drug trafficking as another aspect of the lies of the recent report, saying: "Not all levels of the fight against drug trafficking end with executions, and the Islamic Republic of Iran, in its process of confronting drug crimes, which involves a lot of costs, is actually trying to prevent drugs produced in Afghanistan, a country controlled by the United States, from reaching Europe and other countries. However, it is strange that Western countries, instead of encouraging Iran in this fight, are attacking us."
Ayatollah Amoli Larijani announced another false claim in the US State Department report as "execution for insulting the memory of the Imam (may Allah be pleased with him) and the leadership," and emphasized that "there is no greater lie than this," adding: Article 514 of the Islamic Penal Code stipulates that anyone who insults the Imam (may Allah be pleased with him), the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, in any way, is sentenced to imprisonment from six months to two years (another article in the same law stipulates that an attempt on the life of the Leader of the Islamic System of Iran is punishable by death, which of course, this article has nothing to do with the issue of insult, and here we are discussing assassination).
The head of the judiciary asked, "Can't the text of the law be found in the United States, which does not have an embassy in the Islamic Republic of Iran?" He said, "Can't a country that spends billions of dollars on destroying other countries and committing crimes against them prepare a law book so that it doesn't publish such false and ridiculous statements by referring to the relevant legal articles, and must resort to the lap of the opponents of a country and government to prepare such reports?"
Ayatollah Amoli Larijani declared the judicial immunity of Iranian government officials and security forces to be another lie in the Americans' report, adding: "This false claim has been made while we have tried one of the highest officials of the former government in the Islamic Republic of Iran, and his sentence is now being carried out, and the Armed Forces Judicial Organization always investigates the crimes of security and military officials and issues the necessary sentences."
** The judiciary carries out its work with authority.
The head of the judiciary considered the making of such false claims against the Islamic Republic of Iran, and especially the judiciary, to be an indication of the impenetrability of the judiciary and the fulfillment of legal duties in confronting the pressures and attacks of enemies, and emphasized: The judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran carries out its work with authority and has prevented the influence of enemies and seditionists, and an example of that is the words of the Imam (may Allah have mercy on him) who said: Whenever you see others speaking against you, know that you have done your job correctly.
** America has no right to impose its false and humanistic standards on others.
Emphasizing that every country has its own values and norms, and that America cannot and does not have the right to impose its false and humanistic standards on others, Ayatollah Amoli Larijani referred to the crimes of Americans in different countries and the killing of innocent women, men, and black people in American cities and streets, and said: "American crimes worldwide are more than they want and allow themselves to write human rights prescriptions for other countries."
The head of the judiciary described the claim regarding deaths in Iranian prisons as another irrelevant statement in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs report and clarified: Deaths of prisoners, especially the elderly and some people addicted to drugs, are an almost possible issue in all prisons, and of course, proving that some deaths may be due to torture is another issue that is merely an allegation and cannot be accepted without reason.
** The Human Rights Headquarters and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs should respond to the claims of the US State Department.
Ayatollah Amoli Larijani called on the Human Rights Headquarters and officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to respond, with authority and firmness, and in a completely reasoned and logical manner, line by line, to the false claims of the recent US State Department report so that the people of the world will become aware of the US government's continuous lies.
At today's meeting of senior judicial officials, discussion and consideration continued on reducing the prison population, and some of its articles were approved.
