At least 3 protest rallies were held/Zarneh Municipality workers and employees went on strike

On Monday, July 4, a group of social security retirees from Dorud and Shushtar in these cities and a number of minibus owners from Bandar Abbas gathered in front of the Hormozgan governorate building to protest the failure to address their demands. On the other hand, workers and employees of the Zarneh municipality in the Ivan county of Ilam province have been on strike since Sunday, July 3, to protest the failure to pay their demands.

According to the HRANA news agency, citing the Free Union of Iranian Workers, on Monday, July 4, 1402, a number of social security retirees gathered in the city of Dorud, located in Lorestan Province, and Shushtar, located in Khuzestan Province.

Protesting retirees chanted slogans such as "Our enemy is here, they lie, it's America" ​​and "Our salaries are in riyals, expenses are in dollars."

These citizens gathered to protest the non-implementation of the Supreme Labor Council's wage resolution and their poor living conditions.

Bandar Abbas minibus owners' gathering

According to the Free Union of Iranian Workers, on Monday, July 4, a group of minibus owners in Bandar Abbas gathered in front of the Hormozgan governor's office building to protest the failure to address their demands.

The gathering of these people was held to protest the lack of fuel quotas, congestion, and the lack of gas stations.

Strike of workers and employees of Zarneh Municipality

According to the Free Union of Iranian Workers, workers and employees of the Zarneh Municipality, located in the city of Evan, Ilam Province, have been on strike since Sunday, July 12, 2022, in protest of the non-payment of their demands.

Workers and employees of the Zarneh municipality have 7 months of unpaid salaries, 53 months of unpaid insurance, several years of pension fund arrears, and outstanding claims related to overtime, missions, and work holidays since 2015.

After years of pursuing their demands, these workers have held numerous protests and written letters to provincial officials since May of this year, but have not received any response. They have been protesting the failure to address their problems since yesterday.
