Mossad Chief: Islamic Republic Gave Hamas $100 Million in Funding Last Year

Mossad Director Yossi Cohen says the Islamic Republic of Iran provided Hamas with $100 million in funding last year. He added: "Iran is the largest sponsor of terrorism in the region."

According to the Jerusalem Post, Mr. Cohen said on Monday, July 10, that Iran is also transferring its precision-guided missiles to Syria so that Hezbollah can use them to attack Israel.

The Mossad chief added: "Iran is sponsoring terrorist operations in the Netherlands, Germany, Turkey and France. Yossi Cohen said: Iran was even involved in a plot to attack former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani while he was in France."

Yossi Cohen also said that Iran was behind the recent attacks on oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman and Fujairah, as well as a missile attack near the US embassy in Baghdad.
