Zayandeh Rood came back to life

 After 18 months of drought, the Zayandeh Rood River has regained its vitality, a river that gives a special identity to the entire region from the Zagros Mountains to the Gavkhuni Wetland. On Monday morning, February 28, the gates of the Zayandeh Rood Dam were opened to allow water to flow along the path, and now, a day later, the historic city of Isfahan is celebrating the return of the Zayandeh Rood.
