Prince Reza Pahlavi: Negotiations are the lifeline of the Islamic Republic regime

Prince Reza Pahlavi called the negotiations a lifeline for the collapsing Islamic Republic regime.

Prince Reza Pahlavi criticized the US negotiations with the Islamic Republic over its nuclear program, writing in a statement: "These nuclear negotiations will not bring peace to the Middle East. This regime is not negotiating in good faith. The Islamic Republic is using diplomacy as a tactic to buy time, reduce pressure, and consolidate its power."

"These negotiations, although they began with good intentions, will in practice be a lifeline for a collapsing dictatorship and will prolong its life of terror and chaos."

He called on European countries and the United States to deal with the Iranian people instead of the extremists ruling Tehran, adding: “The Islamic Republic is at its weakest in 46 years. Its leadership is fractured, its economy is in free fall, and its people are rising up. In recent weeks alone, protests have flared up again across the country. Change has already begun, now is not the time to save a dying regime.”
