The head of the Fardis Welfare Department announced that 101 cases of child abuse were recorded in the city last year.
According to HRANA news agency, quoting IRNA, the head of the Fardis Welfare Department announced that 101 cases of child abuse were registered in the city last year.
Ahmad Mohammadzadeh added: "Spousal abuse, elder abuse, and abuse of the disabled, after child abuse, are the most common types of abuse in Fardis County, respectively."
Fardis County, with a population of 600,000, is located south of the metropolis of Karaj, the capital of Alborz Province.
