Church Council 222's call for universal prayer for Iran

Christian brothers and sisters around the world;

 

As many of you are aware, the 222nd Church Council has declared a nationwide fast and prayer from Saturday, October 8th (October 16th), which will continue until Saturday, October 22nd (October 30th).

Each day of this fast and prayer, a group of churches from the council will be responsible for leading the prayer. On Saturday, October 19, we will gather together from all over the world to intercede and pray for the situation in Iran.

We invite you, dear Christians and all lovers of God, to participate in this united and unified public prayer.

The announcement and poster for this public invitation are available in English and Persian. Please share these posters on your social media and let all your friends know to join us in the Tent of Meeting on the date and time mentioned, to worship God together, and to intercede and pray for Iran.
