Open Letter from the Iranian National Assembly for Free Elections: Military Conflict Will Ensure the Survival of the Islamic Republic

The "Iranian National Council for Free Elections" wrote to the heads of the Security Council member states, calling for these countries to take action to free Iran.
In this statement, the "National Council for Free Elections of Iran" referred to the JCPOA and wrote that the Islamic Republic missed a historic opportunity and, instead of rebuilding Iran and fighting poverty and unemployment, aided terrorist groups and caused instability in the Middle East.
The group wrote in its statement: "The Islamic Republic of Iran is not only a serious threat to the Iranian nation, but also to freedom-loving countries around the world."
The council wrote in its statement: "Any military action against the Islamic Republic of Iran is a grave and unacceptable mistake. In fact, military conflict will only prolong the life of this regime, as we witnessed during the Iran-Iraq war."
The "National Council for Free Elections of Iran" called on the member states of the Security Council to impose intelligent and targeted sanctions against individuals and organizations that directly and indirectly play a role in suppressing freedom and violating the rights of Iranian citizens.
The Security Council will address the Iranian nuclear issue on Wednesday, chaired by President Trump.
