You took the light from my eyes, opening the eyes of many.

Elaheh Tavakolian, a Khorasani girl, said to the person who shot her and damaged her eye: "You took the light from my eye, you opened the eyes of many."
Elahe Tavakolian shared a video of herself on social media yesterday for the first time, showing what a painful day she had spent in the hospital. The video was archived until today due to her mental condition. She said, "Who would beg from the intensity of her eye pain to have their eyeballs removed along with their lost beauty?"
Another video from a fellow countryman was also posted on Instagram, in which he wrote: "Eleh Tavakolian was shot in Esfarayen. I was right behind her. We were doing nothing but chanting. We were around the city's central square (Imam Khomeini Square). On one side of the square, a young man tore down a Khamenei banner and was shot with a shotgun. (The person holding the gun in the video is Amin Gholizadeh.)
We were on the other side of the square chanting when a police officer came and said that if you tear the banners, you will be punished. We said we would just chant. A few minutes later, Amin Gholizadeh came and stood in front of us and for no reason pointed a gun at us and fired. The only reason my eye wasn't damaged was because Elaheh was standing in front of me. Now Amin Gholizadeh is walking around the streets very easily.
